The Gerry Lopez Long Haul Longboard is a fantastic all-around longboard that will suit a wide range of surfing levels and wave types and sizes.
Gerry Lopez added this longboard model to his lineup after high demand and it surfs beautifully.
Lopez's Long Haul has a wide square tail and a generous nose that offers plenty of planing surface and room to cruise. The square tail acts as a release point allowing the board to pivot for faster turns, but you'll spend most of the time riding the other end of the Long Haul.
The wide nose shape makes nose riding as easy as possible, and the board is super stable in this single fin setup because when you step on the board it feels very stable under your feet. This square tail is pulled inward enough to allow you to turn the board, yet retains enough volume in the tail to maximize flow and glide. The Long Haul in this classic model is great fun.

Gerry played a major role in the shortboard revolution of the late 1960s and early 1970s, surfing his local spots in Hawaii and leading the way to legendary spots in G-Land, the islands of Sumatra and Bali. .
Still surfing in his 60s and fit as ever, Gerry designs and shapes some truly unique boards that keep his surfing journey alive and growing. This collection of surfboards represents the quiver with which he travels to surf the ultimate destinations of the world.
Gerry's surfboards at Surftech are built using Surftech's Fusion Poly technology, a traditional construction with a polyurethane core with polyester resin which is then varnished and polished. This construction produces a gorgeous surfboard that surfs as good as it looks.
