Surftech's HD construction is our version of the standard EPS and epoxy construction for surfboards. It features a closed-cell EPS core containing a wooden batten, covered with an E-glass and biaxial for a lightweight and responsive board. All Fusion HD decks are hand finished for superior quality.
The closed-cell EPS core provides better buoyancy and faster response, while the HD clear epoxy resin provides high thermomechanical performance. High-grade E-glass is used for maximum strength and optimum strength-to-weight ratio, while the full biaxial bridge patch distributes power and protects against scratches. Finally, the wooden slat adds strength and extra pop.
