Who is the SIC Drifter surfboard for?

The SIC Drifter is a very easy board with its stability and its accessibility. It is a surfboard for every day and for all levels.

The SIC range is aimed at both beginners and advanced riders, if you are looking for a surfboard for family use, it is the perfect board. It will stand up to all tests over time.

You will be able to surf when in small conditions this summer or in stronger conditions out of season. It will also fit all sizes from a 40 kg child to a 90 kg adult.

This board was designed by the American shaper JON Henderson from Santa Cruz.

SIC commissioned California shaper Jon Henderson to design the new Drifter. Jon has been shaping surfboards for over 30 years and has built his reputation with his own brand of custom surfboards. In his Santa Cruz shop, he has been shaping for other major surf brands for years. Jon designed the SIC Drifter surfboard to ride on every wave in the world and used his years of experience to design a board that is both highly versatile and performs in a wide range of conditions.

This surfboard is designed for beginners or intermediates who want to improve their skills on a small board. It makes it easier to get into the wave and offers efficient maneuverability.

With the tough tec version, you can surf with a clear conscience and for good reason: you won't find anything similar on the market, only Tahe masters the Tough Tec technology in their French factory in Vannes.

Tough-TEC TECHNOLOGY

How is it made?

Principle: a polystyrene block is covered and introduced into a mold in which ASA finishing plates have been thermoformed. The mold is closed under a vacuum. Once out of the mold, the ASA plates must be cut around the outline of the board, then the pad is installed, and the finishing work is done on the board.

This technology allows to create super strong, high performance boards at an affordable price, while offering an exceptional level of strength. They're not the lightest on the market, but they're by far the strongest.
